Our celebration of Dmitri Hvorostovsky continues with a 1999 telecast of Tchaikovsky’s sweeping masterpiece, featuring the great Russian baritone as Prince Yeletsky, the role of his Met debut four seasons earlier. Featured as a free stream for the first time, Elijah Moshinsky’s stirring production is conducted by Valery Gergiev. This stream can be viewed until 6:30PM ET Wednesday, February 24.
